Dorothy wore a beautifully innocent checkered blue dress. Most first impressions of Dorothy is of a sweet, young girl. Perhaps one that could be pushed over. Perhaps one that is a little obedient. But those red heels were an entirely different story. The red, sparkly, attractive heels were clearly at odds with Dorothy's dress. A bit racy and more sexually feminine.
Clothes shape our identity in a dangerously subconscious way. Judging a book by its cover is a cornerstone of human nature. It fascinates me how I could be perceived by others purely by a split second observation of the clothes on my back.
That is why this blog is going to be a workbook. A wardrobe workbook. A discovery of what a single dress could show about your personality. Or a pair of shoes. The sort of picture that scarves and hats and jewellery and coats could all paint together.
